Main Feature

Sat 1 Jun

Daytime Guests
14:30 (for 15:00 start)
Oh Yeah Centre, 15-21 Gordon St, Belfast, BT1 2LG

Unofficial (ie. fun) ceremony, followed by drinks, dinner and speeches. We’ll be on a (covered) rooftop from 15:00-17:30 so bring something warm if the weather calls for it.

Evening Guests
20:00 (for 20:45 band starting)
Oh Yeah Centre, 15-21 Gordon St, Belfast, BT1 2LG

Revelry, japes and shenanigans for all. There will be basic snacks, plus handmade pizza to share. And of course the venue has a bar.

If you want to meet other guests for drinks and food earlier, during the afternoon, we recommend sticking to the strip that runs North-South along Hill St, Skipper St and Church Ln. Bootleggers is a good bet, as they serve food without needing reservations. Click either of the maps below for more recommendations.

After-Glow

Sun 2 Jun

A Belfast City Day
Bullitt Hotel, 40a Church Ln, Belfast BT1 4QN

Drinks, food and hangover banter for any survivors. No need to confirm or commit, just roll up if you feel like it. If the weather is good we’ll be in the open rooftop area of the hotel (called Babel) otherwise we’ll be on the ground floor.

Main Venue

On Sat 1 June, come play with us at a Belfast institution.

The Oh Yeah is a hub for Northern Irish music. The building serves, among other things, as a music museum with permanent exhibits on display about the space. It is also an established party venue, with a music stage that we will be rocking.

Located in our historic Cathedral Quarter, the Oh Yeah is moments away from some of Belfast’s best pubs and liveliest craic.

Parking & Access

There’s probably no parking directly outside the Oh Yeah Centre (on Gordon St) but there is road access for pick-up/drop-off. Any special requirements, suggest you speak directly to the venue (or give us a call).

There is a pay-and-display car park at the eastern end of Gordon St, plus on-street parking within a few mins’ walk throughout the city.

Accommodation

If you want to stay in the same place as much of the wedding party, and have access to the hotel residents’ bar after we’re kicked out at 01:00 on Sunday morning, join us at the Ramada Encore, Belfast City Centre – it’s right round the corner from the wedding venue.

We have arranged a group discount – just quote ‘Bland Wedding’ when calling to book: +44 (0) 28 9026 1800

– Discount gives you a double room for ~£103/£113 (single/double occupancy) per room per night, including breakfast and with cancellation up to 48 h before –

Recommended Alternative Options

Airbnb – here’s a list of some places in recommended areas (note: change the dates for check-in and -out to see what else is available, and pay attention to the number of rooms available to ensure you’re not too cramped together)

Malmaison – a little cooler (but slightly more expensive) than the Ramada but still close to the action and should have rooms.

Transport

Airports

Belfast International
~25 mins further away than Belfast City but served by more airlines & flights.

Taxis are ~£30 and can be caught outside the airport.

Dress Code

You know us! Wear whatever makes you feel like you want to celebrate. We’ll be dressed smart but not bothering with ties, tuxedoes or anything too formal.

Bring a coat, this is Norn Iron after all.

Gifts

Some people have asked us what we want for wedding gifts. There’s no easy way to say this… we don’t want anything. We live very fortunate, comfortable, happy lives and can’t think of anything we want or need. Please, just come and party with us if you can, and know that that’s enough.
